Terms of Service

1. What 50adsaweek is

50adsaweek (“we”, “us”, the “Service”) is a software platform that turns your brand information and briefs into video advertisements. We provide the workflow: brand profiles, AI-written scripts, render orchestration, and hosting of your finished videos. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Bring your own keys (BYOK)

Script writing runs on Anthropic and video generation runs on WaveSpeed AI, each using an API key that you provide. This means:

• You have direct relationships with Anthropic and WaveSpeed and are responsible for their fees (video typically $3–7 per finished ad, set by them, not us). We never mark up or resell AI usage.
• Your API keys are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and used only to run jobs that you initiate. We never display them back, log them, or use them for anything else.
• If a key is invalid, out of credit, or rate-limited, scripts or renders will fail. That is between you and the provider; we surface the error but cannot control their service.

3. Subscriptions and trials

Plans are billed monthly through Stripe. New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial that requires a card; you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first. You can cancel any time from the billing portal in Settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

“Unlimited” ad generation means we do not meter or cap the number of ads you create in normal use. We may throttle usage that degrades the service for others (for example, automated abuse).

4. Your content and responsibilities

• You retain full ownership of your brand assets, briefs, and the videos generated for you. You grant us a license to store and process them solely to provide the Service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the claims in your ads, including compliance with advertising regulations in your industry and jurisdiction (FTC guidelines, health claims rules, and so on). AI-written scripts are drafts — review them before publishing.
• AI-generated presenters are synthetic. You are responsible for complying with any platform rules about disclosing synthetic media where you publish.
• Don't use the Service to produce unlawful, deceptive, or infringing content. We may suspend accounts that do.

5. Service availability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We depend on third parties (WaveSpeed AI, Stripe, Supabase, AI model providers) and are not liable for their outages. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination we delete your stored data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If a change is material, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
